<lj:music>Another Day - Dream Theater</lj:music>

Oh teh noes! tonight is the last night that I'll be sleeping at Carnegie Mellon for the summer. Those 6 weeks went by fast. And when I sit back and reflect on what exactly I did, I see a whole lot of Roy flying off various stages in Smash due to stupid mistakes. And a bunch of headshots. And nerds. Many nerds. Oh, and of course uber hot sweaty ness of hate.

Last recitation for programming was today. Most people didn't show up because our prof said anyone finished with the lab could leave, but I felt like staying anyways. Plus, the prof was watching some random funny music video on youtube, blasting it over the speakers and showing it on the projector.

I'd also like to let anyone reading know that an anagram of "Recitation" is "Antierotic." I'd like to thank our lab 4 (anagram generator) and our professor for testing someone's program, bursting into laughter, then telling us all about what he found. We found this out last friday when we were watching a bunch of random vids on the projector again, some of which included the Asian Backstreet Boys, Mentos + Diet Pepsi, Crazy Frog, and the Evolution of Dance. I asked friends in the class next door and apparently they could hear us quite well.

I should be doing this take-home Econ quiz. But procrastination FTW.

In more other news, we had a Super Smash tourney last saturday. It was awsome, and the final fights were intense, and I have a couple badly filmed movies on youtube. Look up username "fuMonkey" if you happen to be interested.

PS. I kinda feel like one of those emo kids who hates the world but thinks people care about what they write because I wrote a lot of random crap. ^_^

    <lj:music>Dream Theater - Pull Me Under</lj:music>

Another new artsy thingy brought to you by my mouse and pencil and the creative genius of Dream Theater....

And now for the journaling thing...

First week's over. I've been playing Halo and SSBM for a good part of the time, and for most of the rest of the time I've been defending Middle Earth from the forces of evil and all that good stuff. And, after this week, I've come to realize that half my programming class consists of copies of Elliot. Oh, this makes me quite happy in a way I cannot describe.

In other news, I've switched into Principles of Economics because I couldn't get into Engineering because of that whole thing with time and such. Unfortunately, I haven't figured out how to be in two places at once yet, nor have I come across any magical hourglasses. I think I'm pretty close to getting the equation to be in two places at once... I just need to figure out how to make pi equal apple without using an oven or an = sign. But anyways, I'm glad that I couldn't get in, because my bathroom-mate, his roommate, and the kid across the corridor are having a bitch of a time doing the homework for like 6 hours straight or so, without much exaggeration going on. Econ has homework and such, but it's all logic and textbook and reading notes and stuff. Also, my Econ teacher resembles a Klingon when he scrunches up his forehead. It's pretty sweet.

    <lj:music>Eulogy - Tool</lj:music>

So, this weekend was the Nativity carnival, and since I went there for middle school, I can get a volunteer job and get community service and such. And I didn't see anyone cool there, except Austin, Olivia, Al, Alex and Stephanie. The rest of you all suck. Anyways, I was working there for all of friday (5-11) and saturday (12 - 11) at the information booth with various people rotating in and out and me occasionally taking up a temporary job at another booth when someone didn't show up and checking in other volunteers and answering questions(poorly). Anyways, the most important thing is that on Friday, I used up 9 nametags, then resolved to use more the next day.

List of nametags and their positions on me on friday
1. HARRO CHIEFS! (back of right shoulder)
2. Joe (right side of stomach)
3. MD (to the right of #2)
4. I work here. Ya rly (back of left shoulder)
5. I'm not messing around, I'm still working (right breast)
6. A. Naymetagg (left breast)
7. My Infoshake brings all the girls to the yard (left forearm)
8. nametags++; (stomachish)
9. I've been here the entire time (chestish)

And so, the saturday, I did manage to beat my record. Even though Olivia stole my Chef Brian nametag *points to empty square on the chestish area

Also, the same day, I got one of the little kids (apparently he's a freshman now, since he just graduated 8th grade from the school) to win me a giant inflatable flail, since I was too lazy to get up... I mean I was busy working. Yeah. Just like I definately didn't leave at 8:00 on friday to go out with friends for about an hour. Seriously.
